Welcome to ND SoR: A Shared Responsibility
This program provides participants with access to Parts 1 and 2 of the Science of Reading series, designed to give content-area specialists a clear overview of the Science of Reading and highlight their vital role in supporting literacy outcomes.
The course affirms the essential contributions of music educators, physical education teachers, library media specialists, school counselors, and other professionals who may not teach reading directly but play a powerful part in every student’s journey to becoming a confident reader.
In addition, participants will gain an understanding of the requirements of HB 1388 and how they connect to everyday practice in schools.
Together, we’ll explore how every educator and para educator—regardless of discipline—can make a lasting difference in students’ literacy success.
