This training is designed to help educators and school staff deepen their understanding of the diverse backgrounds and experiences of multilingual learners (MLs). Through compelling stories, data, and reflective discussion, participants will explore who their ML students are, the various ways they enter the U.S., and the often unspoken social-emotional and cultural challenges they face. Attendees will leave with practical strategies for providing empathetic, effective, and culturally responsive support to their multilingual students.
