Five Methods of Nonlinguistic Representation

This course explores five key methods of nonlinguistic representation—graphic organizers, physical models, visual imagery, interactive demonstrations, and role-playing—as powerful tools to enhance student learning. These strategies help make abstract concepts concrete and accessible, particularly for multilingual learners and students with diverse learning styles. By engaging students visually and kinesthetically, educators can improve comprehension, retention, and classroom participation.
