Full course description
The purpose of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act is to ensure that all children with disabilities have available to them a free and appropriate public education that prepares them for further education, employment, and independent living. When a student with disabilities turns 16 or is older than 16, they must have a transition IEP in place. Eight components under Indicator 13 outline how a transition IEP should be written. This presentation will review the eight components required for writing a transition IEP.
