Full course description
Under section 300.307 of the IDEA, states must adopt criteria for determining whether a student has a specific learning disability. The state must not require the use of only the discrepancy model but must permit the use of a process based on the child’s response to scientific research-based intervention. This course will review the Response to Intervention (RtI) process and how to complete the Integrated Written Assessment Report when using RtI to determine whether a student has a specific learning disability.
