Welcome to The Learner-Centered Classroom: Practical Pathways to Personalization. I am thrilled to have you join this professional learning community as we explore the transformative shift from teacher-led instruction to student-owned mastery.
In this 1 credit course, we aren't just talking about theory; we are building a sustainable, "Plug-and-Play" model that honors the unique strengths of every learner in your classroom. By diving into the Four Pillars of Personalization, you will discover how to create flexible environments that increase student agency while actually making your feedback loops more manageable and meaningful.
I know how demanding the classroom can be, so this course is designed to be highly practical. Every artifact you create—from your Learner Profiles to your Choice Boards—is intended for immediate use with your students. I look forward to seeing your reflections and the innovative pathways you design for your North Dakota learners!
