Building an AI-Powered Classroom Toolkit

This 15-hour, one-credit asynchronous course grows out of my work in the Bismarck Public School's Empower[Ed] program, where innovation is not just encouraged—it is a core part of how we help learners take ownership of their learning, explore their passions, and demonstrate mastery in meaningful ways. Empower[Ed] has shaped my belief that teaching and learning improve when educators are willing to experiment, reflect, and design learning experiences that are more personalized, relevant, and empowering for students.

My passion for AI comes from that same place: a desire to help teachers work smarter, create more responsive learning environments, and give students better tools to think, create, communicate, and grow. Throughout this course, you will build a practical AI-powered toolkit that supports your classroom goals while keeping strong teaching, learner agency, and human connection at the center.
